About
NANOxARCH® (Materials x Design) is a research - based advisory agency that has pioneered "Sustainable Material Design (SMD)" in China since 2018. It aims to help brands across industries, as well as design companies and material manufacturers, to "reduce carbon emissions from a material perspective" and thus to mitigate climate change through joint efforts.
In order to establish a sustainable material ecosystem in China, NANOxARCH® started developing the "China Sustainable Materials System (CSMS)" in 2016 and has been updating it since. It widely connects the "R&D-Manufacturing-Application-Recycling" chains of 7 categories of sustainable materials such as Plastics&Rubber, Wood&Wood-like, Fabrics, etc. By closely integrating research, production, design, certification, education and AI, NANOxARCH® is vigorously promoting the iteration of the local material industry towards sustainability.
